A LITTLE About ME

 Frozen Leaf Media is proudly based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and owned and operated by me, David Lucero. My mission is simple: to help individuals and businesses thrive by blending creativity, cutting-edge technology, and storytelling into content that truly connects.

 I began my journey in media back in the 1970's with a slightly used Brownie camera. I think I was 7 years old. In the 1980s is where my camera use was more about learning the fundamentals of film photography. I then joined the Military fresh out of High School. We get to the 1990s, where I'm focusing on photography that highlights people and their stories because now these gigs have an investment level to them. Senior portraits, couples, and model photography were at the heart of my work in the early years. Then, in 2007, I co-founded a brick-and-mortar studio in the Art District in Downtown Tacoma, and that is when Frozen Leaf Media was created. That experience gave me a strong foundation, both in creativity and in business. In 2010, I expanded into aerial photography and videography using advanced UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems). This technology opened new possibilities, allowing me to capture perspectives rarely seen, whether for real estate, construction, farming, engineering, or other industries. The result has been striking visuals that help clients showcase their work in ways that stand out and drive results.

 Though the original studio has since closed, Frozen Leaf Media has grown into something even more versatile and accessible. With more than 17 years of experience and a commitment to innovation, I’m proud to work with clients of all sizes, helping them capture powerful stories, create unique visuals, and reach new audiences.

  As a proud U.S. Army and Desert Storm Veteran (3rd Infantry Division), and a longtime resident of the Pacific Northwest, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for both the beauty of this region and the potential of technology to elevate the people and businesses within it. That passion continues to fuel Frozen Leaf Media today.

MY SERVICE RATES

 Like I said earlier, at Frozen Leaf Media, I believe in keeping things simple and straightforward. No hidden fees, no vague quotes. Just clear, honest pricing for the work you need. Media is difficult to price in a way that remains both fair and sustainable, but my hope is that your decision to work with me is based on the connection you feel with my work and the lasting value it creates.

 Every project is unique, so my rates are structured à la carte to give you flexibility and control. You’ll always know what’s included, from filming and editing, to travel, and even drone operations before we ever start. My goal is to make professional media production approachable, transparent, and built around your vision.

DRONE

My hourly "flight" rate for Professional Drone Service is $300/first flight for Inspire Pro with DJI X5 or DJI XT (thermal camera by FLIR)

$200/first flight for Phantom 4 Professional

Price is based on 1 flight = 1 battery + approximately 35-45 minutes of flight time. Each additional battery for the same flight area is only $50.

PHOTOGRAPHY

My hourly rate for Professional Photography starts at $70/hour for RAW/un-edited work.

Professional Production Photography starts at $100/hour.

• Event & Special Occasion Coverage — From $400
  Capture the laughter, emotion, and energy of your event with creative documentary-style coverage.

• Commercial & Brand Photography — From $350

• Showcase your products, people, and space in a way that reflects your brand’s personality.

Production Portraits & Headshots

• Headshot (up to 1 Hour, 5 8"x10" prints and original digital files) - $300

• Portrait (2+ Hours, 15 8"x10" prints and original digital files) - $650, full gallery download upgrade is $1000 

Extras - Edited Images or Digital File

• $40 per image download for High Resolution File Size

• $80 per image download for Original File Size

• $80 per hour for Professional Editing

REAL ESTATE

Production Bracketed (HDR) Real Estate Photos - Includes interior + exterior, High-quality HDR images (25 - 40 final photos), 48 hour Turn-Around.

• Under 1200 Sq. ft. - $350, 1201 - 2999 Sq. ft. - $450

• Over 3000 Sq. ft. - add $150, Over 5000 Sq. ft. - add $250

Production Exterior Ground ONLY Photos - Exterior photos only + along with detail shots. Great for showing off the street view and special features of the property, and is great for locations where using a drone isn’t ideal or allowed (20 - 30 final photos), 48 hour Turn-Around. - $250

Production Plot Map Package - Includes 10 - 15 aerial photos at various heights and different angles of the property. Plot map superimposed on three images. 48 hour Turn-Around. - $350

VIDEO

 My "hourly rate" for Professional Videography starts at $500/first hour for filming in 4k (3840 x 2160/50p) resolution

$300/first hour for filming video in HD (1920 x 1080/30p) resolution || $200/ first hour for Stabilized Gimbal for camera.

Each additional hour is $150. Professional Editing is $80 per hour.

  Professional filming in HD or 4K, with smooth stabilized motion and attention to detail.

• Highlight Reels & Short Films — From $400
  A beautifully edited, story-driven video that captures the heart of your project, event, or brand.

• Social Media Edits — From $150

• Quick, engaging clips formatted for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

WEDDINGS

I normally do not seek out weddings as much any more, but on occasion I may take on a destination wedding, or an elopement wedding. So, if you're looking to hire me for photography, drone coverage, videography, or as a skilled Second Shooter, I’d love to be part of your special day. RUSH DELIVERY FEE

So, if you absolutely, positively need the media I created for you within 24 hours, the following fees are for you:

• add $150 24-hour, or less, rush editing for any photos.

• add $200 24-hour, or less, rush editing for any HD videos.

• add $250 to $500 24-hour, or less, rush editing for any 2.5K/4K videos, IF it can be done. There are processing variables that need to be considered.

TRAVEL FEE

 To help keep my rates nice and low, I’ve added a small Travel Fee of just $0.70 per mile for any travel from Coeur d’Alene (83814).

CANCELLATIONS

I understand that life happens, and sometimes schedules need to change. To keep things fair for both of us and to ensure my calendar stays on track,

please review the following policies, as I do not give refunds of any kind:

• Cancellations: Cancellations are made before the 48 hour mark of your scheduled session, and made during my business hours of 9am - 5pm, Mon. - Fri., no voice mail or text, so we can discuss rescheduling. Again, I do not give refunds.
  
  

• Rescheduling: Sessions may be rescheduled 3 times within a 90-day window of opportunity, at no additional fee. Just a reminder, I do not give refunds.
  
  

• Late Arrivals: Please plan to arrive on time. I will wait 30 minutes, that's it. Your session will need to be rescheduled to my availability.

• All No-Shows, for whatever reason, will forfeit their deposit and their session will need to be rescheduled to my availability.
