About Me

Frozen Leaf Media is proudly based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and is owned and operated by David Lucero. My mission is simple: to help people and businesses thrive through creative, technology-driven storytelling.

My photography journey began in the 1970s with a Brownie camera and grew through decades of learning film fundamentals in the ’80s, then portrait work in the ’90s, and eventually professional studio work after co-founding a brick-and-mortar space in the "Art District" at that time, in downtown Tacoma (WA) in 2005. Frozen Leaf Media was born from that experience, blending artistry with business insight. Over time, I expanded into videography with the Canon 5D MkII and later into advanced aerial photography and videography using DJI UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) technology, opening new possibilities for real estate, construction, agriculture, and commercial clients.

Since relocating back to Coeur d’Alene in 2018, Frozen Leaf Media has evolved into a versatile, full-service production company serving clients of all sizes. With decades of experience, a commitment to innovation, and the perspective of a proud U.S. Army and Desert Storm Veteran, I am passionate about creating visuals that stand out and make an impact.
